It is with extremely heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our much-loved founder and long-standing dentist, Dr Jo Pretorius.

He proudly served the island for almost 30 years and meant so much to us all. He will be deeply missed.

Dr. Jo as he was affectionately called, had over 30 years of experience in general dental practice, including 8 years in Oxford Street, London, before taking over Dental Services in the Turks & Caicos islands in 1998.

He pioneered the first preventative dentistry program in the islands, introducing a dental hygiene service that caters to full-time residents and winter visitors. Read More
